Back Row, Theresa Hemness, Terrie Woodruff Sherry Russell DE CA Distributive Education Clubs of America is an organization designed to provide leadership skills in distributive occupations. Capital 's DECA clubs became increasingly involved in the community. This year JR. DECA, worked at Capital Mall running the Gift Wrapping Booth. Candy sales were also popular. Senior DECA which runs the school store, developed their own business this year. The Christmas Tree Stand next to Evergreen Savings :Q Loan became a familar sight to Westside residents. Twelve SR. DECA members placed in the area conference and earned the right to participate at the State Conference in Yakima. This is the best Capital students ha ve done in four years.
