FCC(SW) Gregory Archulet CF Division The AEGIS Fire Controlmen of Combat Systems, Fire Control (CF) Division operate and maintain three critical components of the AEGIS Weapon System: the SPY-1B{V) radar (SPY), the Mark 99 Fire Control System (FCS). and the Mark 7 Operational Readiness and Test System (ORTS). SPY is the heart of the AEGIS system. In addition to maintaining SPY, CF Division personnel operate the radar as Radar Systems Controllers (RSC). This complex watch station is an integral part of the ship ' s air defense capabilities. CF Division personnel control the FCS as Missile Systems Supervisors (MSS) which actually fires virtually all of the ship ' s Standard missiles.
