K IOHNSON the hat check girl talking to IIMMY WOOLSON fire chief of Cape May Point who had gust finished inspecting the hotel against fire hazards Switching the scene again we came upon the brand new Cape May High School 1ust recently completed by the R OWENS CO contractors Iust to see what it was like we switched to the indoors Most of the faculty were Alumni of the Class of 48 who had come back to their old Alma Mater to teach In the Supermtendents office we saw CHARLIE EDMUNDS the new superintendent talking to his secretary ROSE MARIE TRAINO NANCY TAYLOR who had taken over Marys Job when she retired came from the Principals office to talk to ROSIE Being just the slightest bit curious to see who else had come back we convinced Mr Stmner to let us continue down the hall a little further Peering into a room with the aid of the machine we saw ANNA EDMONDS had taken Miss Hollidays position and was trying to teach some French to her thick headed pupils In the next room we glimpsed EMMA ELWELL teaching young ladies the fme art of cooking and sewing On the side EMMA was in charge of the Malorettes and we must say they looked wonderful Mr Stmner finally got the sound effects on hrs wonderful machine working and we could hear the busy hum that ever hung over C M H S The pleasing sounds we heard seemed to emanate from the huge room we Judged to be the auditorium we investigated further and found that MARY LOU STANSELL was directing the Glee Club in preparation for the broadcast it was gomg to make from Radio City at popular request This Glee Club was famous the nation over Leaving this pleasant scene we looked into the next room where we discovered a few more of the faculty having an informal chat Continuing our Journey through the school we found that BRIDGET SUDAK had taken over Miss Harrys position as commercial teacher PRISCILLA MOOREI-'IELD their bumps and scratches While we didnt want to eavesdrop we Just couldnt resist listening in on their conversation about some other old classmates We learned that AROUILLA PLUMMER was the head nurse and IEAN RIDDICK was the chief psychiatrist at the Burdette Tomlm Memorial Hospital IOAN HARRIS was head coach of girls sports at N I C She had left her old Alma Mater when this new positron was offered her MARGE BURKE was touring the country with the Rockettes as the star forward of that undefeated basketball team RUTHIE CHILDS was coming to Cape May to take over the positron of girls physical education instructor she was replacmg IOAN HARRIS who had taken a similar position at N I C LORRAINE ROSEMAN was the head drummer with Phil Spitalnys All Girl Orchestra LEO MAZZA and IANIE IORDAN had gone into a partnership and opened a hot dog concession at the Wildwood Arr Port HARRY MOSS was made the President of the New Iersey Bell Telephone after working many years as the chief accountant of that firm With this last bit of news Mr Stmner put his wonderful machine away for another time and the few Semors present left fully determmed to return in the future fif they were not already herel to see how much of this predictxon would come true THE END G....9 lv.--J 6:55 uf5-D .iv- J J ,-D? -f 2525- -4--f 3 --,,,... -.
