By twisting a number of little dials and knobs, Mr, Stinner focused a picture on the screen. As the picture came into focus, we saw that it was a formal dinner, and there at the speakers' table was BUD SWAIN. He was being made the 23rd vice-president of the General Electric Co. as a result of his selling the ESKIMOS a large order of refrigerators. Twisting a few more dials, Mr. Stinner changed the scene to the beach on a bright, sunny, summer day, and, what did we see but EDDlE'S BEACH SERVICE! EDDIE CAMPBELL had taken over Steger's business when Coach had retired. Upon turning on another switch, we saw a huge store with flashing neon signs that proclaimed this to be LORRAINES FASHIONS As we went through the door we saw RAE BARNETT the proud owner of this large establishment Later when we were leaving some familiar faces caught our attention Nearby was a salesgirl FRANCES ROMAN who was giving invaluable aid to VIRGINIA RAINEY a steady customer of LORRAINE FASHIONS Then the scene was switched to a unique night club THE 48er It was the gala celebration of the 10th anniversary of the graduation of the owner BEN COLAMECO from his old Alma Mater Cape May High Looking around the Club we saw some more familiar faces of those who had made good CHARLOTTE HUGHES the great stage screen and television star was accompanied by her husband DAVE DORAN an Admiral in the Merchant Marine Seated across the floor from them were PAT BUTLER and her latest flame PAUL TOY who had been seen together quite frequently since the opening of his new success THE UNSUSPENDED a smash hit from the very opening night The new exciting entertainer BILL WRIGHT was sending everyone out of this world with his s m o o t h music' Entoying this music were BUCKY HALBRUNER and his wtfe MARTY PHILLIPS HALBRUNER who were spending a second honeymoon at the 48er Marty was discussing high school days with IUNE BROWN and CAROLYN HOWEY while thelr husbands were talking to AL CRESSE now a confirmed bachelor and also the owner and manager of the trans continental HEALTHO MILK CORPORATION By pushing another button Mr Stinner shifted the scene to the beach again Here we found the largest most modern hotel south of Maine north of Florida and west of Europe CURT HARRIS was the man responsible for this new wonder in the garden spot of the universe Focusing our machine around the hotel we found quite a few of the graduates of the class of 48 working for Curt We saw WES OURAM driving his 58 Cadillac convertible into WALT KELLERS service station on the ground floor of the hotel A few feet up the hall we saw a barber shop with none other than GENE VELLI the singing barber singing away as he was giving GENE TAYLOR a hair cut GENE TAYLOR told him that he was home for a farmers banquet given 1n honor of GEORGE EWING and NORMAN HAND who had Just slgned a contract wth I P Burpee Seed Co to raise their new lima beans wlthout pods for the Burpee Co WALT OLIVER was also flying in for the dinner from the West where he owned acres and acres of wheat A we went up to the terrace we found LEE SHARP the head life guard in the midst of several attract1ve bathmg beauties LEE looked very happy his work must have agreed wtth htm At the entrance of the terrace we saw MARY J ,S sr 4-at 5. , IX -,-,..
