Participants in the Ms. C.F.T.I. Pageant were judged in five categories. Evening gown, casual wear, sportswear, group dance, and public speaking. Judges took into consideration how well the contestants worked with each other, their poise, and in particular, how well they answered questions put to them by the judges. After the pageant Mr. and Mrs. Nelson posed proudly with their daughter, the new Ms. CFTI. 21
