Roche, by dedicating this yearbook in his name. Throughout the year Dean Roche has been an ex- ample of the personality of Cape Cod Community College. We wish to remember you, Dean Roche, as the man who always had a minute to listen to our problems and give advice and help when it was needed. We wish to remember you as the dedicated Dean of Students, hurrying to admin- istration conferences, leaning over the podium at assem- blies, and stopping in the halls to chat with students before reaching your work-cluttered desk. You came to the College in June of 1963, have given it so very much of yourself, and will be here to see the new campus and help give it the good start it so much deserves. Thank you, Dean, for being our friend, for having the time to give so freely of yourself to help us. c ■f fl P l - Bm 14 19 20 23 24 Student Senate 25 Executive Committee ROW 1: J. Ferro, D. As a normal school and as a Maritime Academy this foursquare brick structure has earned its keep over and over again. Now, in stolid and dignified later years, it houses one of the newest and most exciting ventures in higher education to come to our state in a long time. 64 Sports r_ ' + 66 R 4 67 Tim Bordeaux Roaer Seamans Harry Evans : ' .,:,;:::- ' .: Len Clarkson 68 ■wiWiiiMMnTrr — - — — Don Shealey Wayne Pittsky Dave Armstrona Norm Lasue Tom Manley Clem Romano Mike Buckley 69 SPI , ■;■ ' I B :w( : ; HtffSflflk : EbmEJ ' ■ Si w W| ' JB ■ ' :■-■ 70 With The Compliments of PARNASSUS BOOK SERVICE When in need of books new or old, see us on Route 6A, Yarmouth Port, or at the Four C ' s Book Shop UNCLE JOE ' S ITALIAN AMERICAN RESTAURANT Spaghetti Chicken Pizza Steak Subs Sea Food Fresh Homemade Bread CAPE COD ' S LARGEST SPECIALTY SHOP Fine Feminine Fashions Since 1904 Main Street at Barnstable Road Hyannis cleaning BRADLEY ' S CLEANERS 242 Main Street, Hyannis Fine Dry Cleaning LAUNDRET High School Rd. and North St. BUZZARDS BAY GAS COMPANY Telephone Main Office, Hyannis, 775-1070 Upper Cape Area Buzzards Bay Office, 759-4704 Falmouth Office, 548-7527 Central Cape Area Call Main Office Hyannis, 775-1070 Harwich and Chatham Customers Call Enterprise 5642 HEADQUARTERS FOR SCHOOL SUPPLIES Typewriters Adding Machines ATWOOD OIL COMPANY South and Sea Streets Accounting Forms Hyannis, Massachusetts Thesis Paper Art Supplies Slide Rules Stationery Pens and Pencils jCfTTlK CHARLBET ' S 10m Stationers and Office Outfitters fllfr 234 Main St. 356 Main St. Falmouth Hyannis Community College Students S t i40ti @leaae%4, Have Fun Bowling Ten Pins at CAPE BOWL 3-Hour Service COIN DRY CLEANING Hyannis Special Student Rates 8 lbs. for $2.00 ' Next to Sears Roebuck ; THE BEAUTY NOOK Hair Stylists THOMPSON DRUG Airport Shopping Plaza Hyannis, Mass. Carleton Nickerson Robertson Auto Service Our quest for knowledge has been like a long passage of stairs; step by step we have risen; there have been many turns; there have been many platforms at which we rested and paused to gain a surer footing and gather our strength. With each step, the ground seems further down, the end a little closer. Our future holds more steps in store, more landings at which to pause and assess our progress. Our guides have been patient, have given good council. To them we owe a duty, long and hard to fully endure: not to fall, not to stop, not to recede toward the darkness from which we came. Before we go on, beyond these flights of steps, we would like to turn, if for but a moment ' s hesitation in our eagerness to climb, and thank our helpers. Without you, our steps would have been unsteady and without direction. Thank you, for showing us the way. Literary Editor, Franklin C. Graham r- V M XT 1 |-; £. ' « -
