There is no need here to recount the hard work and heartache which goes into putting together a yearbook— the scrambling for ads, pictures, patrons; the agonizing rush to meet deadlines; the struggle to balance the books and keep everybody happy. Newman Club The Newman Movement is an National Catholic Group with Chapters on most secular and non-Catholic Campuses throughout the United States. It tries to instill greater knowledge and appreciation of the Catholic religion in college students by binding them together and making them more active and conscientious Christians. The Newman Club at C. C. C. C. meets monthly either within the school building or at the Beachwood Inn. The officers for the 1963-64 year consisted of John MacPher- son, President; Angela Gomes, Vice President; Martha Dreaddy, Treasurer; and Maureen Osborne, Secretary. 30
