x Fronf Row: William Tavares, William Crowl, Richard Benkoski, Ronald Caron, Edward Ormston, Mr. Clark, advisor, Edward Wooley, Barry Johnson, Peter Yozefek. Second Row: John Hughs, John Daniels, Joe Janak, Jim Ryan, Wayne Pittsley, Harold Munson, Micheal Kacergis, Sherman Merrill, James Taylor. The Mug Club was the first service club established at Cape Cod Community College. In the 1963-1964 year Ed Woolley served ably as President, while classmates Barry Johnson, Vice President; Ron Caron, Treasurer; and Ed Ormston, Secretary, served as equally efficient leaders. This year the Mug Club sponsored an autumn dance which was successful and most enjoyable. It was held in the Commons with seasonal decorations. As the sophomore year commenced, Mug Club held an open house for the incoming freshmen who were interested in joining this young men ' s organization. Hell Week, or initiation week, was held in November for those new students who chose to become members. A dance ended all of the festivities for the week as the freshmen were made official Mug Club Members. This sophomore year was also spent in putting the ser- vice club ' s goals into action. Its members concerned them- selves with student aid and the development of interest in college functions. MUG 26

Pat Di Pietro Bonnie Steele Karen Nordberg The Foreseer The staff for the second issue of the FORESEER set bravely about its tasks sometime in October, under the watchful eye of Mr. Warner. There is no need here to recount the hard work and heartache which goes into putting together a yearbook— the scrambling for ads, pictures, patrons; the agonizing rush to meet deadlines; the struggle to balance the books and keep everybody happy. Let it be sufficient to say that all concerned will be satisfield if you the readers are pleased with their efforts. Mr. Devoe explains the mysteries of layout to the group.
