USS CAPE COD AD-43 AL-Most AL MISIHAH AT SEA CLASSIFIED ALMOST lf I could have your attention . . . This is your cruise director. . These are the Stories of the warship Cape Cod, whose six month mission is to seek out new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone, or cares to go ever again. In the interest of time and space, l will paraphrase using mere metaphores known only to those that experienced this travesty of the Monroe Doctrine. Pearl was pearly . . . The P.l. was subicy . . . Singapore was singaporian but how does one describe empty aqueous voids? Boring, springs to mind. But, we must glamorize it a little bit, to somehow justify it. Here goes . . . Amid the dunes of uncertainty, we came, we saw, we repaired. Against the forceless voids of unknowing events, we sustained. Awash in a sea of buckling swashes, we remained afloat to retain afloatedness. Some crows were lost, some rings tossed, but in spite of it all, we endured. Some diveboats dived, some futures jived, some ribbons for our chest became bandages for our breasts. Yet, through it all we maintained. As the mighty mother whale suckles her young, so did we refurbish, replenish, and replicate the mighty bastions of freedom that this country produced. So, to conclude this prelude to home, we all learned something, whether it be the weather or the region, the religion of the rag heads, or the headstrong navigational tendencies of our Navy's finest. As we recline in our easy chairs and watch the American way of life flash before us on our Sonys, as we jump into our Mercedes and speed off to meetings, as we order out for Chinese . . . Lest we not forget they were on our shit-list once, too. Let's learn from our enemies. Never to underestimate them again, always on the watch, always on the alert. LAST UNDERWAY, SHIFT COLORS.
