The steam runs the evaporators, main engine and the ship's generator which provides all of the ship's electrical power. Wilson A DIVISION Besides being responsible for the ever im- portant air conditioned comfort we enjoy, A gang is responsible for all the ship's auxilliary equipment including elevators, conveyors. steering gear, anchor windlasses, refrigeration plants, ship's'smaII boats and emergency diesel engines. During tending of other ships, A Divi- sion provides high and low pressure air, oxy- gen, nitrogen and low pressure steam to the tended unit as well as CAPE COD. 27
