Uireinfl 3 I could start dreaming but it NEVER Ends. I've been dreaming straight from the heart Give it to me straight from the heart Seniors... ... I will probably remember sports and my friends the most. The Friday night football games, getting home at 12:00 from a basketball game or an afternoon game. When I was down, there was always a friend to cheer me up. That’s what’s so good about C.C.H.S. everybody is close and it will always be like that...Kip ... They have been Filled with joy, pain, friendships, agonies, happiness, and disappointments. C.C.H.S. is a family. The teachers are the parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents; and the students are brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. NO matter what the future brings, this school and all the great memories here will always remain with me .. . Sandy ... I will remember the good times of my senior year and oh, 3rd period!... Jesse ... Some of the days were really fun. I’ve made some good friends. I have a lot of good memories here that I’ll never forget!... Shelby . . . C.C.H.S. students are very school spirited. The school is small and the scores of athletic games aren't always the best but the students keep trying . . . Susie . . . My days at C.C.H.S. were some of the best days of my life. I have made alot of friends here and we’ve become very close. I will remember all the good times of my 12th grade year with my friends .. Chuck ... 1 believe that C.C.H.S. is a very special school. I think that the students believe in the school and its activities. Cape Charles should be proud of its spirit. . . Julie . . . C.C.H.S. is very close knitted. The teachers care about their students; and everyone benefits from one another. All children should have a chance to experience the closeness of a small school. .. Susan ... 1 thank all the wonderful people that 1 have gone to school with over the years, that have made my high school days the best anyone could ever have. What 1 have to miss after gradua- tion are all the people that make the school what it is. This school may be small, but 1 wouldn’t have traded my school days here for any big school in the world. Thanks to all of you for all the great memories .. . Thomas . . . I thought 1 would never reach the 12th grade and never graduate. Now. that I am older and know that my days at C.C.H.S. are counting down towards graduation. I feel closer to everyone, including underclassmen, teachers, and friends I thought I never had ... Dawn ... I have compared C.C. with other schools. They lacked something important to all schools, “Spirit.” They had spirit, but not like us. We have “THE” school spirit. Even the teachers have it. I wouldn’t want to graduate from any other school. We are 1!. .. Tammi ... “Good-bye” .. . Steve Now. that’s straight from the heart That we’d be able to keep it this way. The Way We Were The Way We Were Memories, like the corners of my mind Misty watercolor memories Of the way we were Scattered pictures of the smile we left behind Smiles we gave to one another For the way we were Can it be that it was all so simple then Or has time rewritten every line If we had the chance to do it all again Tell me, would we, could we Memories may be beautiful and yet What’s too painful to remember We simply choose to forget So it’s the laughter we will remember Whenever we remember the way we were The way we were sung by Barbra Streisand ... They have been working energetically with their chosen theme “Community Action.” Their program emphasis has focused on, “Needs of the Senior Citizen,” “Crime Prevention,” “A King and Queen Campaign,” “Heart Fund Contribution,” and a “Tea for Parents.” Posters and bulletin boards concerning the chapter’s events were displayed monthly in the school’s corridors and in the home economics classroom. Dedicated to the SENIOR CLASS The time draws near that I have to dread; The life we once wanted to lead, is about to be led. The family and friends that are always on my mind. Are the very ones I’ll have to leave behind. There are things that will make me happy, this is true; But right now I want to share my thoughts with you: You were always there when I needed someone, Standing right beside me to make sure I had things done. The times when I was really feeling down, No matter where I was, you were always around. The problem there was when I didn’t have a clue; You were right there to tell me and show me what to do. When someone I loved was sick and died; You were right there to comfort me as I cried. Let’s not forget the times we defended one another; The times when I thought of each of you as a sister or brother. The times we argued and never wanted to be outdone; We always came back stronger, joining together as one. These things are why I care for all of you; These things make me wonder without you, what I’ll do. But as long as I know you’re doing fine. I’ll have and keep a peace of mind. So don’t turn back; for you might fall; Look straight ahead and always stand tall. For what lies ahead will never make me lose my friends. Therefore, let’s prepare ourselves and let our new lives begin.
