LIBRARY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA Virginia High School League THE ARROW Cape Charles High School Cape Charles, Virginia 1963-1964 Volume XXVII Foreword At The aim of the annual staff this year has been to record in pictures the most eventful happenings of the session. The help and co-operation of the staff has brought about this year’s publication which we hope you will enjoy. We wish to thank everyone who has contributed to the yearbook. We especially thank Mrs. Addison, our sponsor, who has devoted her time and effort in making this ‘64 Arrow possible. Also, we wish to express our appreciation to Mr. J. Clyde Morris and Mr. Edward G. Joyner, Jr., of the Chespeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel Commission, for supplying the pic- tures for the end sheet and the division pages. Without these we would not have been able to present our theme adequately. We now present the ‘64 Arrow to you for your pleasure and enjoyment. t ' KOi’EBTf OF THE LIBRAE? Addison EDITORS - -- -- -- -- -- -- Eric Hamilton Nancy Lingo BUSINESS MANAGER - Ann Wilkins ADVERTISING MANAGERS Janet Russell Sharon Curling SPORTS AND CLUB MANAGERS Claude Jones Jane Ryan PHOTOGRAPHY - -- Jimmy Bennett The publishing of the Cape Charles yearbook, the AR- ROW, is customarily the work of the Junior and Senior classes. Our Juniors and Seniors followed this same plan. The publication of a yearbook is not just taking pic- tures and getting them sent away to the publishing company. It takes a great deal of thought, manage- ment, time and ability to compose an annual. We hope that you will appreciate the work we have done in composing this book for you and for our school. We would like to give credit for this annual to Mrs. Ad- dison, the Junior and Senior classes, the class represen- tatives and all those who made the publication possi- ble.
