IS IT RIGHT? By Willa C. Smith At the crossroads you must choose; Only one road you can take; You your way may find or lose, But you must decision make. One road leads to wealth and fame Places you on glory’s height. But before you choose the same, Think, be careful! It is right? Then another path you see Looks so smooth, and Tong its way Pretty flowers seem to be Ever blooming night and day. You behold a life of ease; Ah, no battles here to fight; But this question, if you please. Must be answered: Is it right? If you see a well-marked road With your path to duty plain, Where men totter 'neath the load From too heavy stress and strain. Where you need to lend a hand That their burdens may be light. Wait not for some high command. Take this pathway. It is right.
