Cape Charles High School The ARR011 Classmates Dear Alma Mater! Class ’21, Can we forget the race we’ve won, As here we gather with delight. On this our Graduation Night? But ere we in life's future look And lay aside each well-worn book, We come to bid farewell to you— You, dear friends, who’ve been so true. Teachers and friends, ever so kind; All you whom we shall leave behind, With you we leave behind our deepest love And hope in gratitude to prove A credit to your teachings. Yea. As we journey on life’s way, We shall always think of you As our friends so staunch, so true. True, we did not always do All the things you wished us to. There were battles fought and victories won.
