A MOMENT OF GLORY 10th Grade - Noreen Malburg, Eric Zorn. 11th Grade - Leah Whitehead, Curt Dean. 8th Grade - Billie Jo Kazyaka, Ken Potyczka. 9th Grade - Jodi Leonard, Tim Campbell. Middle school kids, until it was time for the pep assembly. The classes com- peted in contests such as the tricycle race, the pie eating contest, the three legged race, and a yelling contest, to win points to- ward the spirit jug. That night, the var- sity football team played Dryden, and won 48ā0. It was the first Homecoming game won by Capac in sev- en years! At halftime, the representatives were escorted onto the field by their parens, and Andy Radvansky and Colleen Green were crowned King and Queen. The Seniors were announced as winners o ' +he spir.iā jug. After the game, the Homecoming dance was held from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the Elementary school. So here the story of Homecoming ends. We hope everyone has fond memories of the great week. 11

HOMECOMING ROYALTY This year, Home- coming took place from October 19 to October 23. It was a funfilled week, which consisted of many events that everyone was encouraged to participate in. A week before Home- coming, students were chosen to represent each class. These students were: 12th grade - Kim Downey, Geraldine Feldhus, Col- leen Green, Julie Hayden, Dorothy Lewis, Paul Hop- kins, Andy Radvansky, Bill Smith, Doug Stroman and Joe Zelecki. 11th Grade - Leah White- head and Curt Dean. 10th Grade - Noreen Malburg and Eric Zorn. 9th Grade - Jodi Leonard and Tim Campbell. Homecoming Court - K. Downey, D. Lewis, C. Green, G. Feldhus, 8th Grade -Billy Jo J. Hayden, A. Radvansky, J. Zelecki, B. Smith, D. Stroman, Kazyaka and Ken Potzyka. P. Hopkins. Elememtary school - Jodi Remenap and George Emmie. During the week, the classes competed in many contests, to gain points toward winning the spirit jug. They inclu ded, dress-up week and a yelling contest which took place at the bon fire before the J.V. Football game. On Thursday, the National Honor Society members did a skit entitled, The Day Before Homecoming , for the Elementary and Middle school kids. Also, the cheerleaders did a dance routine, and taught the kids a few cheers. That night, the cheerleaders put on a sphagetti din- ner for the football players, their parents and the coaches. Friday was the big day, and many events took place. The NHS members dressed up as clowns, and sold balloons to the Elementary and 10
