We visited many of the shut- ins and hope we filled them with joy as we were. After the carolling we had a party. In March we had our annual Latin Banquet. Slaves were auctioned off by Mrs. Clarkson, and bought by the members of the royal court. After our feast, games were played. Our ac- tivities in Latin Club were very enjoyable and will always be remembered. SPANISH CLUB First Row: Left to Right- Teresa Castillo, Vice President; Sally Castillo, President; Diana Perez, Treasurer Second Row: Left to Right- Kathy Granc, Angie Gutierrez, Diane Camacho, Bonnie Hoffman, Darlene Foster Third Row: Left to Right- Mrs. Manning, Advisor; Kay Foster, Nanine Parker, Janine Ceranski, Elaine Gutierrez, Gloria Camacho This being our second year in existence, we aren’t too secure yet. We were moving quite slowly at the beginning of the year but seemed to get into the rushing world about Christmas time by making pinatas. All were brightly decorated and ready to be broken by a child’s swing of the bat. This is one of the projects we hope will bring us closer to our goal, a Spanish Dinner in the spring. 12 Page co-sponsors THE LATIN CLUB and VIVIAN’S BEAUTY SHOP
