CONRAD History is built by the continuous reaching of goals — the explorations, dis- coveries, inventions, and actions of man. Each generation has been confronted with certain problems. It has been their duty to set goals and attempt in any way possi- ble to reach them. As history tells, some have made the grade, while others, of course, have failed. Our generation lives in a fast-changing world. Just last summer people all over the world anxiously watched their televi- sions as the first men walked on the moon. This is history! We are challenged with problems on a much denser scale today. We must decide what to do about civil rights, the use of mind drugs, poverty, pollution, the draft, and the population explosion, among others. It is our duty to study the problems, dis- cuss them objectively, and then to work together to better our world for the next generation. When do we start ? NOW! Mr. Donald L.
