To you, our parents, friends, and community, we didicate THE RECORD of 1 957 . We wish, in this way, to express our appreciation for our new building and facilities that are the results of your time, efforts and planning. President N.H. Brennan Treasurer Fred Knoll Secretary C.C. Hoover Trustee Howard A. Smith Trustee Alfred Oswald Members of the Board of Education are elected by school voters for terms of three years. Responsibility rests with the Board of Education for determining all school policy, approving the selection of all staff members, the courses to be taught, and the instruc- tional materials to be used. The Board adopts and administers the annual budget. Many hours are spent by each member performing the duties for which he is elected. We, the students of Capac Community High School, wish to express to the Board of Education our appreciation for all they have done to aid us in our school careers. We realize that there are many things which are their concern of which we may have little or no knowledge. For their interest and their efforts in our school welfare we wish to thank them. Other activities included, serving a dinner to Agriculture teachers from the district, making centerpieces for Founder ' s Day Dinner, and an assembly program. The F.F. A. We appreciate the co-operation of the student body in helping us cheer the teams along during a game. Girls ' Basketball This year we say farewell to seven team-mates who leave us thru graduation. They have been faithful members and have been our main players this year. However, it does not leave us empty-handed. We have many staying on who are faithful, loyal and ambitious, and several of them show really good promise for next year ' s competition. Basketball Our record this past season is nothing to be proud of, and although in every game there were five boys playing to win, there wasn t enough of the right initiative to defeat the opposing teams. Despite the record, the team wishes to thank the student body for it ' s continuous and loyal support through-out the season. 48 SERE COME THE BRIDES Three act Farce. By Wil- liam D. Fisher. One easy interior. 4 m., 7 w. “Here Come The Brides” is the sort of clean, clever, fast-moving farce that can be acted with greatest effectiveness by any amateur group. The majority of the characters are youthful, and all of them are a delight to play. The single interior setting and few properties are adaptable to any type of stage and equipment. Jimmy Took and Bill Thompson are two young chaps living with Bill’s Aunt Ellen. Jim- my ' s only relative is an Uncle Dan who is very wealthy and very generous. Through a misunder- standing Uncle Dan gets the impression that Jim- my is married.
