ln a galaxy separated from ours by time alone, the LEGEND of the Canyon Com- anches lives on. With the many transplants of Canyon there, the LEGEND starts. The Com- anches once again have the formidable task of unifying the entire body of Canyon into a single universe. It has been tried before but with no success. The goal of the Comanches is to have a feeling of support and coopera- tion through every group at Canyon. With the task determined, the Comanche sets out with his group of warriors to accom- plish the task set before them. They have the brief period between September and March to fulfill their goal of a perfect universe. The elders of the galaxy decided that to capture the unity of the Comanches they would have to bring many groups together. The warriors would start out with OPENING shots which would start to bring the many groups to- gether. That section would be followed by the SENIOR class. Their long journey would then take them to the many ACTIVITIES that would take place during the year. From there they would go to the planet of the UNDER- CLASSMEN and then to the planet of SPORTS. With the many activities and grade levels al- ready implanted by their guide, they felt a need for guidance and went to the planet of elders and brought together a group with the given name of FACULTY. The warriors' final effort would include shots of the CLOSING. On the first leg of their journey they came to many empty places which were normally filled to overflowing with screaming and yell- ing students. The many places they visited were the CAFETERIA, the GYMNASIUM, the AMPHITHEATER, the QUAD, the POOL, and the ENTIRE CAMPUS . .. - Calm quiet EMPTY- NESS something un- heard of at Canyon High I. Canyon's Quad looks empty with no events on the ca- lendar, 2. The Gymnasium awaits the pep assembly crowds. 3. Desolation in the Cafeteria after the busy lunch time. 4. The blue crystal calmness of the pool will soon be erupted by a water polo match. 3. Quiet something rarely seen at Canyon. tw. Our mighty camp, Canyon home of the Comanchesn.

The hard part of their journey was just be- ginningp they now had to bring together people to fill the voids. Their journey took them to many different planets looking for just the right people. They first went to the planet of Sports to collect water polo players to fill the voids in the POOL. Their next stop was to the planet of students to get an overall selection of students dressed up for such events as Spirit Week. They picked the right people to fill the AMPHITHEATER, the GYM, QUAD, CAFETERIA, and the ENTIRE CAM- PUS. With the empty spaces being satis- factorily filled, they felt that they could con- tinue on to the next event they had planned I. Canyon's hustle and bustle begins to fill up the quad and the calendar. 2. Pep assemblies send Canyon's spirit sky-high. 3. Comanches get down to some serious munching in the cafeteria at lunch. 4. Blue crystal calm- ness is destroyed as water polo team takes to the pool. 5. Mass confusion takes over the quiet of the outside Am- phitheater during a spirit week event. 6.
