N 5 .nga Getting It Together L... I last meeting. 1 --- ' -ng-.wi - 'Qty' This year D.E.C.A. did many exciting things. Mrs. Greenway, the head of the D.E.C.A. department, was very active in finding part time and full time jobs for her second year students. D.E.C.A. had many different fund raising activities, one of which was selling mums during homecoming week and Valentines day. The week of C.D.O.'s I976 Home- coming, the D.E.C.A. class sold 823 mums. The D.E.C.A. class then used the money to give Thanks- giving and Christmas parties to needy children. Stu- dents from CDO and from other D.E.C.A. confer- ences met for the annual D.E.C.A. conference in March. The students presented and displayed their own indivdual projects which they later discussed and compared with the different D.E.C.A. classes from other schools. ,Q-r 3 'llq Page 178: Picture I, The DECA Club.
