Roundballers Rebound From Last Year After failing to reach the State Playoffs last season, this year's Varsity Basketball team appeared to be one of the favorites, along with Douglas, Nogales, and Flowing Wells, to win the AA Conference. Led by Senior Kyle Doda, the leagues scoring leader, and Mark Jung, the teams leading rebounder, the Dora- dos defeated such teams as rival Amphi and powerhouse Palo Verde. The starters of the team were Tyler Gibson, Doug Ewing, Mark Jung, Kyle Doda, and Mark Fisher. Dribblin Under the professional guidance of Coach Reyes the Junior Var- sity Basketball Team displayed a successful season. Among the most outstanding members of the squad were sophomores Mike Reisner, top rebounder and scorer Richard McClincy, and Aaron Nymeyer. The over all excellence and demonstration of serious effort by team members this year promised not only an out- to Victor standing season, but also good prospects for the coming year's Varsity Team. The Freshman Basketball Team also scored many impressive victories. The top scorers were Tobin Dada and Dave Buehler, who both averaged fifteen points per game. The top rebounder was Rod Anderson, who averaged ten rebounds per game. 71000 Ll ll u use ft ' tfzw L i -Q ,5,P F5 Q . 4 EANN ' -u N , 5 4 , N, R R -v Q, I Q 'b N A ,I I
