VARSITY CHEERLEADERS The 1984-85 Cougar Varsity Cheerleaders' key verse for the year was Philippians 4:18. The cheerleaders attended camp at Tennessee Temple University where their Cougar Spirit was awarded with the spirit stick for the entire week. This year the cheerleaders served a lasagna luncheon to the teachers at Thanksgiving, visited the Appletree Nursing Home at Christmas, donated S200 Cwhich was raised during the slave daysb worth of stuffed animals to a home for abused children, and provided a cheerleading clinic for the elemen- tary students. The Varsity Cheerleaders would like to thank Miss Bridges for her dedication and hard work as sponsor. - Sheila Hill
