Netters Look Ahead Newly-appointed tennis Coach Sandra Minjarez started the season with only one experi- enced player, Hevila Galan. Coach Minjarez, evaluated the boys overall performance like a weather report From fair to moderate Mrs. Minjarez said the team needed to con- tinue to improve. District players were Mickey Garcia and Ralph Venegas who played no. 1 doubles. Eddie Solis played no. 1 singles and Arthur Limon played no. 2 sin- gles. 64 In the girls division, Hevila Galan played in the no. 1 sin- gles, Donna Gunter and Banti Gil played in no. 1 doubles. Because CHS doesn't have any courts the netters were compelled to practice at the ele- mentary school. Commenting on the situation, Coach Minjarez said, this made things very difficult since we were unable to host any matches, which compelled the team to travel all season.
