The Irish rock group U2 won a 1988 Grammy Award for Album of the Year for The Joshua Tree, which sold 12 million copies. Album hits included With or Without You and 1 Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Michael Jackson's Bad sold more than 19 million copies worldwide. The chart- breaking album was the first album in history to generate five number one singles, including The Way You Make Me Feel. Bejeweled and bedazzled, U.S. sprinter Florence Griffith-Joyner (Flo-Jo) astounded the world with her performance at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, Korea. Her sister-in-law, track star Jackie Joyner-Kersee, joined Griffith-Joyner in bringing home the gold. Panama's embattled strongman Gen. Manuel Antonio Noriega waved to supporters in the presidential palace in Panama City. With the launch of the space shuttle Discovery, America re-entered space after the 1986 Challenger disaster. The successful launch took place at Kennedy Space Center in September 1988. Los Angeles Dodgers winning pitcher and World Series MVP Orel Hershiser helped the Dodgers defeat the Oakland As 5-2 in the final game. i■ United State Post-Masters GeneraI 16 Fourth Class Mail 26 Third Class Mail 34 Second Class Mail 42 Parcel Post 64 Junk Mail 64 First Class Mail 96 Direct Mail 121 Return Receipt Requested 130 lliSi. 11 f, -'• , I '; r£- t%£ ■, irjwg: HR wsiwlSfi Spflig r. ’i 1« ? ■« 4 5 I’m tired- give me a break Did you see those?
