Highlighting this year’s season was the new amateur foul shooting record of 598 shots set by Hal Cohen. Adding to the Bears’ scor- ing power were seniors Bob McKenney and Bob Grunow, with tough defense by Jim Ferguson and John Bicknell. Outstanding team support was shown by Senior players Mike Bowman, Bob Stiles, and Dave Noble. Greatly missed were Robin Huntley, out with a knee injury. Frog Man to the rescue. 146 r SWIMMING TEAM This year’s swim team led by Captain Doug Brown and Co-Captain Steve Monroe and Rick Simpson found the swimming circuit tough in the NAC. Their only highlight halfway through the season was a tied acquired at Salmon River. Overall Coach Smith was pleased with the team’s performance especially breaststroker Steve Monroe, diver Rick Simpson and the relay team of Brown, Monroe, Simpson and Rexford.
