THE L G O N Q V I N FOREWORD Two years ago, the custom was established of publish- ing an annual year book, which was named “The Algonquin.” It is the privilege of every succeeding Senior Class to con- tinue this custom, to do its best to make their publication better than the previous ones, and to form a stronger link in the chain of loyalty which binds together Canton High School and her Alumni. The staff of the Algonquin wishes to thank everyone who has helped in its construction; especially our Faculty Advisors, Miss Chellis and Miss MacLean, to whose assist- ance we owe so much. If, as a result of our work, the four years we have spent in High School are not forgotten, we will feel fully repaid.

Whether they are on the football field, the track, or the basketball court, they never lose sight of this ideal.
