SOUTHERNER STAFF This was the first year of publication for The Southernerf' This year not only proved successful, but a new experience for all members of the staff. Eight issues were published. Jo Anne Hampton, Editor, Mary Roberts, Assistant Editorg and Herb Groves. Sports Editor headed the Editorial staff, while Don Latta, Business Managerg Pat Messenger, Circulation Manager, and Jean Hampton, Ad- vertising Manager took care of the business end. The entire staff was under the supervision of Mr. Ted Kallergis. Pat Dedmond, Pat Messenger- Nancy Diano, Connie Keller, Kenneth McDonald, and John Fortune were later additions to the staff.
