Science Fair requires Long Term ------------Dedication— Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble. This could be a chant heard as CHS student scientists labored months brewing and concocting research projects for the Fifth Annual Lewis County Science Fair. Approximately 175 displays, representing Canton and Highland schools, filled the new gym April 9. Winners were determined during two judging sessions with coveted awards presented that evening. Chemistry student Neil Thompson received the highest honor and was selected to attend the seven day International Science and Engineering Fair held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Accompanying Neil during the May sojourn was Mrs. Veatch and alternate Dan Wiltshire. Soybean growth data is methodically collected by Neal Thompson and Mrs. Veatch. 24 Student Life
