Seniors Senior Class Officers . . THE FOUNDATION OF THINGS TO COME . STANDING: Lori Hoffman, Vice-president; Jeff Janney, Treasurer; Lisa Williams, Secretary. SITTING: Tim Deatrick, President. CHANGE. . Then, it was a time of looking far ahead. Planning ahead to be like those that we looked up to and idolized. It was very far ahead. It appeared that it would take years for us to reach that destiny we associated with words like pride, privilege, and pleasure. And before we knew it, we were there. Faster than anyone had thought, or hoped. For high school was meant to be a long, beautiful experience and for most of us, that beautiful experience was far too short. We spent a time together of learning, growing, sharing, and changing, which is . . Many different things have happened to each of us, the 51 graduating seniors, since we started school some twelve years ago. As we learned our ABC’s, learned to read, and count to 100, we all started a very long and wonderful thing called school. Soon we were amongst those of the Junior High. Suddenly we weren’t dirty faced kids anymore, we were preparing to enter the adolescent-vanity-filled period called high school. Ah, yes! The class of ’81! What it meant then, and what it means now.
