“Looking back we can see so many changes in ourselves and in the world around us. We’ve seen girls go from white ankle socks and dresses to blue jeans and T-Shirts. Our interests have shifted and our world has widened. We realize that we are coming to both an end and a beginning and the words of the song COLOUR MY WORLD come to mind. At Last! All good things must come to an end, or so some wise old head has said. As seniors practice for the real thing, which was on the evening of the 16th of May, a little nostalgia takes over. This is one of the last times they will be together. It is both an ending and a beginning, a bittersweet moment to be always remembered! TOP: The seniors of ‘79 at Alexander - Campbell Auditorium practicing for Baccalaureate and Commencement. MIDDLE: Th almost-graduates put on their caps and gowns for a group shot . . . notice the jeans underneath as this was just a trial run! BOTTOM: Everyone always knew that there were people who would do just about anything to get in a picture, but really, Jim!
