Barbara Weber First Second Grades Williamstown Llnelle Welker Third Fourth Grades Williamstown Elementary Faculty Office Staff Jesse House, art teacher, demonstrates throwing on the potter’s wheel during a program sponsored by C.A.P.S. Organized in the spring of 1974, C.A.P.S., or Canton Association of Parent Support, has as its goal better communication and understanding between home and school. C.A.P.S. members served as playground volunteers and teaching aides in addition to arranging for programs to facilitate better understanding of school cirriculum, services and function. C.A.P.S. SEATED: Donna Allen, Jean Frye, STANDING: Dorothy Killday, Lois Jacobs Can § Will Booster Club Since its organization in 1971, the Booster Club has supported the school program with the purchase of band uniforms, basketball uniforms, track equipment, two potters wheels, five listening centers, a ceramic kiln, science equipment and furniture for two elementary classrooms. Among the fund-raising activities sponsored by Booster Club have been fun festivals, talent reviews, soup suppers, craft bazaars and concession stands at sports events and summer festival theatre performances. 2
