Many people worked hard to make this years all-school production a success. OLIVER was under the direction of Bill Berry. 92 1974 .... A year of political turmoil, including the loss of a Vice-president, Watergate, and the talk of impeaching the president. We also saw rising inflation coupled with an energy crisis—which saw a lot more of us riding bicycles and walking. Amid all these crises came a new fad to ease the tensions STREAKING. In fact this year saw us wearing less, halter tops, short shorts, and platforms. It was a nostalgic year when we returned to songs of the 50’s and even the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy from the 20’s. The movies, “The Sting” and “American Graffiti” followed this nostalgic trend. They brought back memories of the good old days. Also people became intrigued with the occult and witchcraft which was shown by the waiting lines at theatres to see the “Exorcist . We as students saw a new gym start to take shape and many changes which would affect us for years to come. BILL GOLDEN’S Shop for Men THE BEAUTY BAZAAR 430 Lewis St. Canton, Mo.
