Shown at left is Canton High Valedictorian Rick Coartney as he receives his certificate of award during graduation ceremonies which were held in Alexander Campbell Auditorium. The Reverend Mr. Robert Morrison and Superintendent Kenneth Allan observe as Dr. Gary Sharpe, principal, presents the certificate.

Homecoming 1968 Logsdon named Queen Karen Logsdon, shown at left, was crowned and presented with a bouquet by Student Council president Sam Calvert. Jim Barkley looks on. The coronation ceremonies were held during half-time of the boys’ game between Canton and LaGrange. Excitement ran high that night due riot only to the anticipation of the Queen's coronation, but also due to the battle between the rival teams. After an extremely hard-fought contest , Canton won in an overtime.
