But our brief pleasure was not the reason for the publishing of this year- book. The sole purpose of the 1962 Echo is to provide a record of high school life that will, upon perusal in the future. recall for you the hard work, the good times, and the warm friend- ships you have enjoyed at Canton High. We may never know how fully we have achieved this goalg but if, years from now, even one of you should pick up this hook and remember, then our efforts have not been in vain.
