JOHN FRANK CASEY 1869-1872 John Frank Casey, A. M., was born in Bedford. Mass., March 16, 1845. He graduated from Boston Latin School in 1864, and from Harvard College in 1868. Master of Weston, Mass., High School, 1868-69, Canton High, 1869-72. Early in the autumn of 1872 he was appointed as a master in the English High School, Boston, where he has remained until the present time. 10

HENRY B. MINER i866-i86g Henry B. Miner, A. B.,was born in Dorchester, Septem- ber 17, 1843. His father was Rev. Bradley Miner. His mother was Louisa Tucker, a native of Canton. After grad- uating at Brown University in 1864, he commenced teaching in Canton, where he remained as principal of the High School till July, 1869, when he become principal of the Tileston School in Boston. Since 1875 he has been at the head of the Edward Everett School of Boston. 9

FRANK M. WILKINS 1873-1875 Frank M. Wilkins, A. B., was born at Peabody. Mass., February 16, 1849, was a son of James W. and Julia A. Wilkins. He was graduated from Amherst College in 1872, and soon after became master of the High School at Canton, where he remained two years. In 1874 he was admitted to the practise of law at the Massachusetts bar, and was located at Brockton, Mass In 1877 physicians advised his going to Texas, on account of lung trouble. He was admitted to the Texas bar in 1878, but even in that warm climate could not endure indoor confinement. He then interested himself in the stock business, and, with his brothers, was doing an exten- sive business at their ranch in Val Verde and Crockett counties at the time of his untimely death, December 18, I 890. Mr. Wiikins was iniirdererl by Mexican cowljoys. ' 1 1
