C Clark, E Brazee, J, Harklcss Third lloxvj J English, Q Christy J Andrews l-lOl3COBLlN HOUSE Hobgoblin l-louse, this years Senior Class Play, is now cast and being rehearsed every night under lvlr, Walker's direction. No doubt you have seen plays that have fairly made your flesh creep but heres one that tops them all, For every thrill, there is a hearty laugh, lxfliss Priscilla Carter is peeved because her two neices have fallen love with two silly young nincompoopsf' She purchases the grim old Hobgood house in the foothills of the Gzarks and here in the seclusion of the mountains she plans a safe retreat where the girls shall not see their lovers for at least six months on penalty of being disinherited. And what a mess they get into A-ghosts and ghostly doings everywhere, Just as luck would have it, they arrive on the very night that old Bluebeard Bronson, who once committed a murder in the house, is supposed to revisit the scene of his crime, There are some strange happenings on this night, especially when the two boys arrive and dress up like ghosts in order to scare Aunt Priscilla back to town, The boys, after scaring the daylights out of the three servants, are discovered by Aunt Priscilla. Just as she is about to condemn the girls to wait for their money for four years, a number of ghostly manifestations appear and the boys disappear, Bluebeard Bron- son, the murderous lunatic, appears and has Aunt Priss convinced they should leave when the boys rush in to tell them that they are being fooled and that there is a kidnapped girl involved and Bluebeard is only acting crazy. Not until this is proved does Aunt Priscilla relent and agree that Jack and Frank marry her two neices. The characters include: The crochety Miss Priscilla Carter, Peggy Howard: the deter- mined neices, Marion, lvlartha Roberts, and Jill, Elaine Jackson, the two fun loving boys, Frank l-larlow, John English, and Jack Loring, Charles Clark, Susan Parkins, Elizabeth Harr, the English 'ouskeeperg l-lenry Coober, Elmer Brazee, and Delilha Worts, Nancy Coodsell, the two colored servants, old Darius Krupp, the ancient caretaker of the l-lobgoblin House, Cer- ald Harkless, Bluebeard Bronson, the escaped maniac, Jack Andrews, Bill Vxfilkins, his keeper, Glenn Christy, and thenf - The l-leadless Phantom who is later found to be Patricia, a missing Chicago heiress, Joanne Hogan.
