SENIOR CLASS NEWS The senior Class entered Canton High School for the final year with two members--Elsie Townsend and Shirley Kimball. Elsie left in January to get married. Good luck in the future, Elsie. Both Senior girls were barticioants in the Glee Club. Elsie olayed in basketball, and Shirley nlayed the juve- nile in the 3-act nlay, Uwho Killed Aunt Carol1ne.' Shirley was on the staff of H e Pirate Crier and Editor-in-Chief of the Cantonia. She was elected sentative for DAR. An attractive blue and white, from which hot do was conducted by the Senior Class Fair. as the schoolfs repre- booth, decorated in pink, s and sodas were sold, at the annual Cantonia Commencement Exercises on June 7 featured Shirley Kimball as the sole graduate. Professor Brooks Quimby of Bates College was the guest speaker. Baccalaureate was held at the Baptist Church on June 3 with Reverend Frances Porter Conducting the service.
