'I' IIE 'lllllllllllll The Student Council consists of seven members from each of the Senior High classes. It acts as a link between the student body and the faculty, as well as a service organization for the school. The Student Council has organized the annual Magazine Drive, and divided the proceeds among all school clubs, and classes. A scholarship awarded yearly to a deserving member of the Senior class has been set up by the Student Council. A biennial Career Day which enables students to find out the various aspects of the careers in which they are interested is organized and directed by the Student Coun- cil. ATIO AL H0 llli 0UIll'lY The Collins Chapter of the National Honor Society was organized in the Spring of 1953. Students were elected on the basis of Scholarship, Leadership, Character and Service, with in- ductions of seniors in the fall and juniors in the spring. In the fall of 1954 a college fair was presented by the society, for all membersof the jun- ior and senior classes. The monthly calander of events for the school year was put out by members of the society. The present officers are: Janet Read, Presidentg Philippa Hudon, Vice-President, and Joan Hatting, Secretary. The society now consists of twenry seniors. l
