The Class classmate Brent McMurry to speak at the ceremony and petitioned to have Jeff Gross, graduate of 1980, be the guest speaker. During the fi- nal week of school for the seniors, one week earlier than the rest of the grades, students finished make-up work and took semester tests if they had to; seniors with a B or better average in a class did not have to take the second semester test in that class.
