Students compete in these six categories: poetry, serious prose, humorous prose, oratory, duet acting, and dromoric reading. The teom enlarged con- siderably with many young competitors joining. Michelle Kruse, ond Kris Nelson Students Against Driving Drunk Local chapter distributes merchandise, promotes awareness Members of rhe Conron SADD (Students Against Driving Drunk) distributed about $500 worth of SADD merchandise including pens, pencils, bolloons, ond key chains to elementary ond senior high school students. Speakers from the organization were invited by clubs ond other organiza- tions to talk about alcohol awareness. This included rhe Conron junior high ond rhe Beresford junior ond senior high school.
