Upon arriving at the event, stu- dents were greeted with an array of white and pastel colors. After locating their seating placement, the juniors and seniors had some time for socializing before the meal was served by the sopho- more waiters and waitresses. The waiters and waitresses are select- ed by a junior committee. Dur- ing the meal, students enjoyed the music of Augustana Col- lege's Northlander Jazz Ensem- ble. Prom Evokes Boundless Fun This year's prom, hosted by the senior class, was a great success. Those allowed to attend the event were CHS seniors, juniors, and sophomore servers. Many students also brought guests from out-of- town or from other grades. The dance's theme, For Those About to Rock , was enhanced by the perfor- mance of Flat Cat, a versatile band out of Sioux Falls. Many hours were endured by students who deco- rated the armory for both the dance and the ban- quet. UPPER LEFT: Linda Harmon, Barb Siandley. and Roger Sorum chat with friends before the dance begins. MIDDLE RIGHT: While chaperoning, Mr. and Mrs. Murren took some time out to dance.
