- Loving, Sharing, weeping, caring, and all that we've been through. Days unending, pencil lending, a fire drill or two. The tine was spent, though not alone, and thats what made it fun. The thoughts we shared and games we played made us feel like one. Discouragement and loss of hope had come from time to time. Your aid came in a useful hint or just a borrowed dime. I found out that when I was down, you would find a way. To pick me up, dust me off, and brighten up my day. A cymbal ringing, the choir singing, cheerleaders clapping hands. The fall wind chills the happy crowd seated in the stands. You were there, and so was I; this memory will stay. Along with others we hold so close of Happy High School Days . Time has passed though all too soon, and we must soon be parted, Yet we will teach the younger ones to finish what we've started. Make a friend, confide in him, and he will see you through, In time they too,will say these words: FRIEND, I WILL REMEMBER YOU. (Brian Detaers)i 2
