The second class meeting was called by the president as a special meet- ing. At this time a float tor the Homecoming parade was discussed. This was voted against, however, since there were so tevv unorganized students in the class. Also there was no representative tor Homecoming Queen chosen from the class since neither ot the tour unorganized girls wished to be voted upon. Our last meeting was called after Convocation, February 4, 1948, tor the purpose ot making plans tor the Valentine Dance. The Sophomore class, last year, started the tradition ot each year having the Sophomore class sponsor this particular dnce. Although we have not been such an active class this year, we have been a mighty class, Page 83
