A Pre-Mid-SerneTer Hop sparked morale. Our new pledges were formally inTroduced To faculTy members and alumnae aT a Tea in The home of Mrs. Hadley Conn. Having passed exams successfully Cwe were firsT in scholarshipl, The Psi Chis celebraTed ChrisTmas wiTh SanTa in The O. K. Dining Room. Merry ChrisTmas! and To all a happy vacaTion. Back on campus. Hell Week became NeaTness Week. Rough lniTiaTion became an lndianap- olis Symphony ConcerT aT The MuraT TheaTre feaTuring Yehudi Menuhin, resulTing in six smiling faced pledges. Formal iniTiaTion was held on February 23, l948, aT The home of Mrs. N. C. HerringTon for MargoT Auge, Alvina Bischoff, Lois Jamieson, Nina Jamieson, Cora PaTchin and Marjorie Siler.
