9123? ,ASTE Sax OFFICE G7 l CAPTAIN MILTON P. ALEXICH, U.S. NAVY Captain Milton P. Alexich, U.S. Navy was born in Akron, Ohio, the son of Dr. Frank B. and Mildred Alexich. He was graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1952, having formerly attended the University of Akron and Ohio State University. His previous tours of duty have included the aircraft carrier PALAU and the submarines HARDER and ANGLER. ln 1958 he attended the Nuclear Power School and Naval Reactor Prototype, following which he returned for duty as a staff instructor at the Nuclear Power School for one year. ln 1960 he reported for duty aboard the nuclear submarine SEAWOLF. He has served in the polaris submarines ABRAHAM LIN- COLN and as executive officer of the JOHN ADAMS. Captain Alexich commanded USS TINOSA QSSN606l from February 1966 until March 1968 and USS BENJAMIN FRANKLIN QSSBN 6401 from May 1968 until August 1970. His most recent tour of duty has been in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Submarine Warfare, Washington, D.C. Captain Alexich is married to the former Cheryl Pake of Akron, Ohio. They have five childreng Jeannette, Constance, Mark, Natalie and Frank.

He attended Yale Univer- sity and was commissioned an Ensign on 13 June 1955. Captain Buzzard also holds a masters degree in public administration from Penn State University. During his naval career Captain Buzzard has seen tours of duty as engineer and navigator on the USS REQUIN QSS-4811, division engineer on the staff of COMSUBDIV 62, ex- ecutive officer on the USS ALBACORE QAGSS- 569l and commanding officer on the USS SIRAGO CSS-4851. Captain Buzzard was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation during his service as ex- ecutive officer on USS CANOPUS lAS-341. He was promoted to the grade of Captain on 20 October 1975. He was detached on October 75 for his latest assignment at Bupers, Washington, D.C. C CDB BUZZARD, Executive Officer, conducting tour for senior police officers of Strathclyde region. .
