Miss Mariana Mehaffey . . . even-tempered and thorough, teaches history to freshmen and juniors, Kliss Xlehaffey guides the Student Council with level thinking. Xlany and varied are her duties as freshman class adviser. Kliss Klehaffey is also assistant lihrarizm. Mr. John Neal . . . good-natured and helpful, is instructor of industrial arts. llusy with 'l'-squares and com- passes, his boys in mechanical drawing are taught drafting. 'llo the tune of lathes, they produce articles they have planned. Klr. Neal advises the Hi-Y Club with many useful hints. Miss Vera Neish . . . of the vim, vigor, and vitality, is ll memher of the commercial department. She strives for accuracy and efficiency in her typing, shorthand, and husiness lfnglish classes. Kliss Neish is founder and present adviser of the Commercial Cluh. Mr. 0. J. Orsino . . . the quiet-spoken, teaches junior history classes. lie teaches his students to make vvise decisions which may lead to successful government hy clear conceptions of the mistakes and achievements of other days. Mr. Ralph Spence . . . lover of the outdoors who never is at loss for a story to illustrate a point, teaches bookkeeping and clerical training classes. hir. Spence develops to a greater extent his pupils' accuracy and thinking power. lVIr. Spence directs the senior magazine sale. Miss A. Marie Stewart . . . teaches English l, French l and ll, and Caesar. Through language courses students acquire a better cultural background and world knowl- edge. Bliss Stewart's students remember the exactness of her teaching. bliss Stewart organizes many senior projects. Miss Lorraine Sylvester . . . pleasant and charming, teaches general mathematics and algebra l. She competently puts a problem before a student's mind and instructs him how to meet the situation. Nliss Sylvester is adviser to the Drama Club and directs the Christmas Play. Mrs. Esther Treylinek . . . able, congenial, and friendly, directs all physical education for girls. She has charge of all girls' sports, of cheerleading, and of stadium usher- ettes. illrs. Treylinek is the Alpha Tri Hi Y Club's adviser. Mr. CliE0rd Winnette -- . . . true scientist respected for his erudition, instructs classes in chem- MR, RALPH SPENCE istry, applied science, and biology. His students find there would be a difference in reaction if one were to drink HZSO4 rather than H2O. Mr. Winnette is adviser to the Benzene Ring. Miss A.
