0 R CLASSES The relationship between the high school student and his community is a fact often overlooked. The courses of study offered in the various high school curricula tend to prepare the youth to take his place in the affairs of the community by giving him an insight into the privileges offered by his community. A thorough knowledge of the various branches of the government of his community, in its relationship to the Feder- al and State government, is essential to our American youth. Too few have only a vague idea of our great American Consti- tution, the history of its conception, and its important function of preserving our coun- try for us. Extensive study of this particular subject cannot be too highly recommended, Ida Zeman
