Pep Rallies. Washington County Fair, Kennywood. Pirate Game at Three Rivers Stadi- um, and many parades throughout the year. At the Superstar Drill Team Camp held at Duquesne University, the Canonettes won tro- phies in the home routine evaluation and also won the Sweepstakes Award for their perfor- mance during the week. The two Co-Captains this year who worked extremely hard keeping the squad together and making them look their best were Barbara McCoy and Kimberly Carter. The Senior mem- bers who did a superior job are as follows: Terra Smelko, Michelle Parascenzo, Renee Veres, Melody Garber, Lynn Baxter, Maria AI- masy, Kelly Morris, Terri Anesetti, Rhonda Stanek, Kathy Brigich and Susan Mankel. Thanks to all the Canonettes for adding a little more spice to the band.

Captain. l The lively cheerleaders, under the direction of Mrs. Rheam, bring spirit to football games, boys and girls basketball games, wrestling matches, and swimming meets. Be- sides cheering at all of these athle- tic competitions, the Varsity Cheerleaders participated in many different activities and won many awards. During the summer the girls attended camp at the Universi- ty of Pittsburgh, where they won many awards. In November, they placed 4th out of 22 schools at the Allegheny County Cheerlaeding Competition and in April they placed 2nd in the Washington Coun- ty competition. f c, M , - I L ' 1-.N-r' Row I: T.
