The high scholastic rating required for club membership serves to promote academic standards essential to acceptance in any accredited nursing school. Allen This year was a year of many firsts as far as the F.F.A. activities were concerned. Prob- ably the biggest first was the french fry stand at the football games. This was a very successful venture into the business world for the members. Another important first for the club was the honor which Charles Bradshaw had be- stowed upon him at the State Farm Show in Harrisburg. He was the first boy from the Canon-McMillan Chapter to receive the Key- stone Farmer degree. The club also continued their other activi- ties as they did in previous years: demonstra- tion team, seed sales, attendance at and par- ticipation in local fairs and livestock shows, annual Parent and Son Banquet, and numer- ous other activities. uh
