Varsity Club consisted of students earning varsity CM letter In malor sports football cross country basketball wrest ling golf track and baseball Under the able leadership of club officers Capt Stan Olenn Lt Dan Verona Master Sgt Larry Verchek and Treasurer Ron Bish club started to accomplish its goal by bringing about cooperation and unity between various sports Varsity Club assisted coaches in recruiting enthusiastic sup- port and cooperation from student body. Club became integral part of the co-curricular activities program rallying student body into a well organized booster group that lent all teams unwaivering support. Those athletes possessing high morals good character and a respectable scholastic standing received an invitation to ioin club. Athletes regarded their membership in club as an honor. Keystonlans direct traffic In main hull What seems to attract so much attention? The hall monitors of Canon McMillan formed a school service club commonly called the Keystonians The advisor, Mr Pantely chose a group of thirty five senior boys explicitly to maintain orderly movement throughout the school Keystonians assisted in dismissing assemblies from the auditorium and pep rallies from the gym At open house they acted as parking lot attendants and as ushers for the parents at the program ln the line of extra curricular activities, the club sponsored a talent show, holding auditions try outs and practice sessions after school. They spent a week s time gathering talent from the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades. ln addition to the capable leadership of their sponsor, the boys elected a lieutenant, Jack Rodd and a captain Dan Verona. ROWI Tarr Barton Stewart Svihla Mohler ROW 2 Holloway Spalla Trebel Cushner Danley BENZENE RING EXPERIMENTED IN SCIENCE An organization called the Benzene Ring Science Club stimulated an interest in science beyond that ofthe regular classroom and labor atory work To urge and train the members to work as a group and to obtain worthwhile knowledge and experience served as the main purpose for the existence of the club Under the the supervision of Mr Gray the club carried out many important prolects and duties relating to the science field. The club had only twelve members, but the aims and standards of the club remained high.
